Help Us Raise R150,000 to Build Cape Town’s Next Generation of Peace Leaders!
The future of social cohesion in Cape Town rests on the relationships being built today. We need your help to ensure the Youth Interfaith Intercultural Programme (YIIP) can run this year.
Our Goal: R150,000 ($9,120) will make the two-year Schools Programme possible for 70 Grade 10 and 11 learners in 2026.
Why Your Donation Matters
The CTII Youth Interfaith Intercultural Programme is a unique two-year journey that equips young leaders (ages 16-17) from diverse religious, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds to build bridges of understanding. They graduate as active citizens, ready to transform dialogue into action.

Hear It From the Learners:
“Before I entered the Interfaith Programme, I pretty much saw my religion… as the only correct religion… But interfaith really allowed me to understand. I didn’t have to accept, but I could listen. And that really changed the way I viewed life. The programme really helped me create friendships… those are friendships that will last a lifetime.” Ahmad, Grade 11
“It taught me that different faiths don’t have to divide us, they can bring us closer through understanding and respect. I’m grateful to have had this opportunity to learn, to connect, and to see the world through new eyes.” Daniel, Grade 11
Join us in fostering intercultural and interfaith relations between young people across Cape Town, that build empathy, peace and collaboration. Every Rand you contribute directly supports a young person’s journey to becoming an intercultural interfaith leader in their schools and communities.
